March 31th, 2008 This week is the first week of class, don't miss our first installment this Wednesday. Greg Corrado has rejoined the teaching staff and will be giving the traditional kickoff lecture on why equations are your friends! For those of you who have't been to the Fairchild building in a while, it's in between the Clark center and the construction site along south side of the Medical school. The main entrance is in the middle of the side that faces the big dirt field at the construction site. Charming, we know. |

Jan 23rd, 2008 Working [real-time] syllabus is now posted. Follow the link above or below. The course reader (a first this year) is well underway. The current plan is to make the reader available to Stanford students online in PDF format and to distribute printed copies to students who take the course. |
Oct 2, 2007 This class WILL be taught this year. Ilana Witten and Scott Owen will be running the show. Contrary to historical precedent (it was previously offered during Fall quarter), MathTools for Neuroscience will be offered during SPRING quarter of the 2007-8 academic year. Please check back in this space for updates on exact scheduling, syllabus, etc... We are aware links on this page are broken. They will remain so until we create content for them. |
